    Welcome Letter

    July 29, 2024,

    Dear Holly Parents and Students,

As we near the beginning of the upcoming school year, we are thrilled to welcome the 2024-2025 academic year! This year will bring about some exciting changes, including the establishment of a new administrative team committed to working closely with our staff, students, and community to ensure a remarkable year centered on student growth, community involvement, and staff proficiency. A brief introduction of our team is as follows:

    Superintendent:  Shelbie Schenck

    Secondary Principal:  Aly Fellows

    Elementary Principal: Laura Biggs

    Athletic Director:  Reece Warren

    Business Manager: Kayla Gomez

In other news, prior to students returning to school, our staff is training to implement a program called Capturing Kids Hearts. Capturing Kids' Hearts® equips professionals in K-12 education to implement transformational processes focused on social-emotional wellbeing, relationship-driven campus culture, and student connectedness. We are also excited about the addition of a Holly Shooting team for JH/HS students.** In order to have a successful start to the upcoming year it is crucial that we update you on revisions in our student handbook for grades K-12. All students and parents are responsible for familiarizing themselves with the information in this handbook. Hard copies of the student handbook will be distributed at school. For your reference, a brief overview of some important updates are listed below.****We are optimistic about the upcoming changes for Holly School District. Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to the community for their support of the school and staff. Please feel free to contact us with any inquiries; we are enthusiastic about building relationships and seeing our community flourish.****Wishing you and your families the best as you enjoy the rest of your summer breaks.

    Sincerely,

Shelbie Schenck, s.schenck@hollyschool.org Aly Fellows, a.fellows@hollyschool.org

    Laura Biggs, l.biggs@hollyschool.org
